Lost Password? Hemorrhoid Treatments and Cures – More Harm Than Good For Hemorrhoid Relief?

Posted: Jan 03, 2010 | Did you know many common hemorrhoid treatments could actually be making your hemorrhoids worse – and have the potential to cause other health problems? In a previous article, I’ve discussed the potential dangers of many frequently recommended herbal and natural remedies for hemorrhoids. But pharmaceutical products also present many risks.

So, what’s wrong with over-the-counter or prescription medications for hemorrhoids?

Many of these drugs contain ingredients including corticosteroids, vasoconstrictors, antiseptics, anesthetics, analgesics … then there’s petrolatum, mineral oil, shark liver oil… In case you’re wondering why these ingredients can be harmful, I’ll give you some idea.

Vasoconstrictors can cause an increase in blood pressure – this is why you may read warnings on the labels of some hemorrhoid treatments, advising against their use if you have hypertension. After more than 20 years in this field, I am often surprised at how many patients are suffering from high blood pressure without even knowing it. In addition, many patients don’t read the label thoroughly and use these hemorrhoid preparations when they should not have done so, causing them potentially serious risks. Then there’s cortisone creams for piles – you’ve probably heard that these drugs should be used with caution.

Chemical Manufacturing Organization Why Spend Massive Bucks When You Can Start Your Own For Peanuts?

Friday, April 13th, 2012

Posted on November 26, 2010 by Sam Stein Chemical manufacturing businesses usually conjure two thoughts making fertilizers and using scary ingredients.

Second, lets clarify that chemical word that gets so many people so hot and bothered. Chemical is one of the most misunderstood words in the dictionary.

For sure, theres no denying some synthetic chemicals are hazardous. Equally so, some of the natural chemicals found in seemingly harmless plants can be highly toxic and life-threatening, even in minute quantities. Now that weve got the definition out of the way, starting a chemical manufacturing business making cleaning products, toiletries, skin care, hair care, etc is extremely safe and does not necessitate the use of highly toxic substances.

The simple fact is, dishwashing liquid, laundry detergent, window cleaner, shampoo, deodorant, shower gel, air freshener, hand cleaners, etc are all here to stay.

Formulations are now more environmentally friendly than ever. Its never been a better time to start a chemical manufacturing business. If youve done any research, youll know that chemical manufacturing businesses typically sell for hundreds of thousands up to many millions of dollars, the reason being that the demand for products is enormous, the profit margins staggeringly high, and the code of secrecy maintained by those on the inside. But why pay big bucks (and have a lifetime mortgage) buying an existing chemical manufacturing business when, for a very minimal amount, you can start your own?

Contrary to what those in the industry would like you to believe (and prefer that I didnt disclose), you dont need lots of money to get started, and you dont need previous experience or a chemical manufacturing/cosmetic chemistry degree. All you need is good formulations, common-sense manufacturing procedures, some effective marketing tips, a few tricks of the trade from an experienced professional and youre good to go.
